Ronald Bucca was a fire marshal for the New York City Fire Department during 9/11. In response to the attacks on the World Trade Center, Bucca ascended to the 78th floor of the South Tower and is believed to have reached the highest floor of any first responder. He is credited with saving the lives of numerous people and ultimately gave his life amidst his heroic actions.
